Where do you play?
When do you play?

8pm-10pm on Tuesday evenings. However you don’t have to play for the full two hours; some members leave early or arrive late and that is fine!

How much does it cost?

As a visitor, it costs £6 per night to play. You can play for up to three sessions as a visitor. After that, if you meet the club’s standard of play, we would invite you to join the club.

You will also need to pay the Kelsey Kerridge day entry fee of £1.50 (£1.20 for students) each time you visit.

Who plays and who is welcome?

The club is open to adults (aged 18+). The standard is ‘reasonable’ however we do not play in any league. The club does not suit complete beginners, however if you have some experience but unsure if your level is appropriate please chat to us.

How many courts do you have?

We have 3 courts with the potential for 4 courts from 9pm-10pm dependant on member numbers each term.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

The club provides shuttles (plastic) however you will need your own racquet, appropriate clothing and footwear; i.e. non-marking trainers.

Is there parking?

There is parking available at the Queen Anne multi-story car park as well as lots of bike racks. There is also free on-road parking on some of the side roads off Mill Road.

Do you play singles or doubles?

We generally play doubles however if numbers are low then some people may choose to play singles (if they’re feeling fit)!

Can I just turn up?

Please contact Pam before arriving for the first time (via the Contact Us page or Facebook).

Do you offer coaching?

We currently don’t offer any formal coaching however there are a number of experienced players who can offer tips and advice. Check out our Hints & Tips page if you’re interested in improving your game and speak to Pam if you want to take this further.

Do you play in a league?

We do not currently play in any league.

How do I join?

Get in touch and we will invite you to come along as a visitor. If you meet the club’s standard of play we will invite you to become a member. Members can pay termly and receive a discount on the visitor price.

Who runs the club?

The first members to turn up just start playing however we do have a ‘committee’ who run the club. If Pam isn’t available to chat to you can speak to Annie, either of the two Jeremy’s or Rob if you have any questions!
